Norway's SYRACH Begin Recording New Album
July 2, 2006Norwegian doom band SYRACH have finished recording the drum tracks for their new album with producer Herbrand Larsen from ENSLAVED. "Adam [Suleiman, drums] did a great job, and the result was very satisfying," the band write in a press release. "Now we are having a short break before recording the rest."
Formed in 1993 in Kalandseidet (near Bergen, Norway — a region known to have spawned bands like IMMORTAL and BURZUM, to name a few),SYRACH's current lineup includes two new members: Suleiman on drums and Noralf Venås on guitar. The band's next live appearance will take place on Friday, July 28 at the at Garage in Bergen. They will also perform at the Fantasyfestival in Kristiansand on August 25.
